Amazing hike even with the snow! I give this hike a 3.
santa fe bike trails map It is a half a mile from the green fence to the trail entrance on the left. This trail was great, if a bit challenging for two adults carrying kids on our backs. We made a few wrong turns, rocky mountain bikes logo that was mostly because we were trusting our dog to lead us and she ignores switchbacks and runs runs up the mountain!
Nice views in a short climb from downtown Santa Fe. I had the worst time trying to even recognize where this trail was?
There was kind of a defined trail for a bit, but after going more into the forest I couldn't find the trail. Had to turn back.
We very much enjoyed this trail with our 8-year old son on a beautiful Friday morning. Round trip took us 2.
Incredible views just a few minutes from the Plaza! Not crowded at all, even though it was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Definitely still need to use the bridge as mentioned in other reviews. I love this trail.
Really easy mountain bike gt get to so great hike if you don't have all day. Forested with ponderosa and many other types of trees. Nice river the whole way with great places to play in the water.
Will be going back in the summer! My wife and I hiked this trail while in Santa Fe on vacation.
Dale Ball Trail was a nice easy, long hike. Great views.
Not too packed with other hikers. No mud or any problems encountered on our morning hike. Definitely would recommend to other Day hikers. We were short on time and testing out new hiking shoes santx we did a modified shorter loop.
